Music, drifting like forgotten memories, like dreams ... arising in whispers across the darkness. Familiar. So comforting. But ultimately always an enigma ... in a language all its own.
The first of these three pieces is the original. After recording, and a brief edit, I listened a couple of times and immediately wished it were much longer. Perhaps endless. So I set about creating a couple of variations.
I hope these pieces also speak to you.

Another masterpiece by Anthony. We’re so lucky to have Dataobscura with all the amazing releases.. in the Nunc Stans catalog this for me is another stand out release. The atmosphere here is so peaceful yet ‘lively’.. there’s a great balance here, very addictive! I want to say ‘pick this one up’ but it’s better to purchase the entire catalog for hours and hours of amazing ambient music. (And look at this cover!! Just breathtaking)

Beautiful tension and dynamics. Calming you, haunting you, atmospheric trails ascending and descending, rolling like waves found on an abandoned canvas. Fleeting moments and fragments like a ghost fading away into the distance, captured on old film reels that replay over & over in a long empty but lushly decorated room in the middle of nowhere. Gorgeous.
