Fleeting moments and fragments like a ghost fading away into the distance, captured on old film reels that replay over & over in a long empty but lushly decorated room in the middle of nowhere. Gorgeous.

APK’s albums, both solo and his collaborations, are all stunning pieces of art, ‘sound-paintings’ as I like to call them. And in my opinion APK’s works of art radiate a unique sound.. and that’s a big achievement I think, in this field of music.. With ‘Resolution’ this maestro kicks it up a notch! Wow.., without hesitation ‘Resolution’ is in my top-3 APK-(solo)albums.. There is so much going on and at the same time the whole album feels like there’s a perfect balance. The sounds are amazing.., and there’s a story going on within each track. It is an album you’ll want to play again and again. It leaves me speechless and clear-headed... Needless to say: another jewel in Dataobscura’s huge and impressive catalog!
